Alfred Eisenstaedt's Photos Live On



NPR has a great article on Alfred Eisenstaedt who  is known for his photograph V-J day in Times Square, one of the most iconic pictures of all time. Alfred Eisenstaedt (December 6, 1898[1] – August 24, 1995) was a German American photographer and photojournalist. He is renowned for his candid photographs, frequently made using a 35mm Leica M3 rangefinder camera. (Wikipedia)

More Water Magnificence

This is from The Movieum of London. In October they will be featuring An exclusive collection of behind-the-scenes, underwater photographs taken at Pinewood Studios, which is located above the Aquarium on the Southbank. This particular photo is one of the Titanic scenes with Keira Knightley. The collection is called "Water on the Lens" and features "images of underwater shoots for film, TV, commercials and pop videos, celebrating the heart of Britain’s creativity with breathtaking art."
